Support Packages FIT FOR WINTER

Preterm birth is the delivery of a baby before the 36th week and 6 days of pregnancy. Babies born prematurely have not yet fully developed, so they require special care. One of the greatest challenges they face is maintaining body heat, since their temperature regulation system is still underdeveloped. Due to a lack of fat stores, they lose heat quickly, which can affect their health.

During the colder months, this problem becomes more severe, and families of prematurely born babies need additional support. That is why we launched the FIT FOR WINTER project — to provide these babies with warmth and essential care items.
